INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Applicants will be notified if accepted for an interview. An orientation will take place prior to the start of the summer session. A small stipend is given to interns at the conclusion of their summer session.
About the Program:
The Foundation for Wildlife Sustainability coordinates the summer intern experience for college students. Interns are actively involved in Animal Care, Maintenance, Education, Guest Hospitality, and Trail Experiences at Long Island Game Farm.
Requirements:
Interns are required to complete a project during their internship.
Interns are required to be available 4 days per week from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., including one weekend day, from Wednesday through Sunday. Interns are required to commit to working a minimum of 4 weeks.
Interns are notified of acceptance to the program following an interview, which takes place in the spring for the upcoming summer.
